We began this company because we were dissatisfied with the rental company we used, and wanted to offer an alternative to property owners, with true relationship management.

We also own many vacation rental properties in Gulf Shores, and we were the customer of one of the large rental companies....but did not feel we were being treated like it. Sometimes a company can get too big, and forget to focus on the Customer. Gulfsands Rentals, LLC is a fully licensed real estate brokerage in Alabama, and we are truly focused on satisfying the experience of owning investment property in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach/Ft. Morgan area.

At Gulfsands, we treat Owners like guests. We want guests to have a great vacation and come back next year. We want owners to feel they have been treated fairly, and received a good return on their property investment. We try to do both, as best we can, because that is how we would want to be treated.

Gulfsands will work to maximize your benefits through our multiple internet listings. We have turned away so much business, we felt we should offer our services to others. We strive to fill any vacancies with short and longer-term rentals (fall/winter). Gulfsands runs specials in slower periods (fall) to get people into our properties, and always keep abreast of specials and offers available from other rental agents, and match those legitimate specials.

Gulfsands will always keep our rates (and fees) competitive, and perform full market studies on available rates every year.

We are a small company and plan to maintain the 'small company' service our client's expect, even as we grow. We wish to maximize the rental potential for our customers, and will only expand our client base when we feel we are offering the proper level of service to every customer.

Basic unit-cleaning fee for rentals is charged separately to guests. If owners wish to utilize the cleaning service after a visit, there is a small fee, but all other basic cleaning and linen service is included in the guest fees.

Owners must provide two (2) sets of new linens for the unit (or we can provide for our cost). Most other basic rental service needs will be provided by Gulfsands (see sample Services Agreement). If we notice a problem, or the unit needs maintenance or a suggested upgrade to be performed, we will do our best to promptly inform the owner. We will always be sure that guest problems are addressed immediately.

Gulfsands advertises almost exclusively on the Internet (with the exception of signage at the unit, where permitted) and maintains low overhead costs. Our main office is now located on Gulf Shores Parkway in the heart of Gulf Shores (directly across from Bruno's). We handle most rentals via our toll-free service and on the Internet, but we can now also service walk-in business. As we noted, all Gulfsands cleaning and maintenance crews are also locally based in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, AL.
